Of all the projects I worked on at the studio, this was the most enjoyable. Everything from the initial concept design to the fantastical theme spoke to my passion for creature design. Processes were similar to that of the Netflix project, but the paint work was a lot more extensive. Airbrushing techniques were used to achieve the level of detail that was necessary, and Photoshop was used to create the underlying eye graphics.
It was a monumental effort from the whole team involved and the final installation at the castle brought in thousands of spectators. A truly memorable experience.
